How to remove text from all the icons on the desktop in Vista

Here's how to remove the text from the icons on the desktop and keep the desktop clean !
Icons sometimes say a thousand words more than text. In that case I am sure any one will be happy to remove the text and just keep the icons for the very familiar ones.
1. Just right-click on the shortcut, and choose Rename.
2. Now hold down the Alt key and type in 255 on the keypad to the right of the keyboard.
3. You get the Icon like this - without the Text.
Just to let you know, don’t use the set of numbers that’s above the keyboard, these won’t work. If you have a laptop, you can turn on num-lock and then use the little number keys next to the regular letters.

for recover ~~~
it is easy
open command prompt and go to this folder and ren "(alt+255)" "new"
(..) is to type !
then ...you can access it
